Our Story
Paul and Thania Heier started Misión Hispana 17 years ago, with the dream to tell the forgotten in Central America about the love of Christ and the hope found in Him. They have now been serving in Guatemala for 7 years. When looking statistically at the country of Guatemala, they saw the need that existed here in Puerto San Jose, and made the bold choice to move here, making them at the time the city’s only missionaries.
Vision
Our vision is to see people in Guatemala experience radical life change in the name of Jesus, and to provide a community for them that is encouraging,
supporting, and loving. We primarily do this through different discipleship groups for women, children, and youth. We also come alongside our local community by training first responders, providing food and medical care for those in need, and hosting our
